Join our client’s team as an Operation and Sales Executive, a dual-impact role designed to bridge the gap between heavy machinery logistics and market growth. As the sole distributor of SDLG Hydraulic Excavators in Malaysia, our client offers a dynamic environment where you will drive business efficiency while actively contributing to sales targets.

This position is ideal for a proactive professional who can seamlessly pivot between managing operational workflows and engaging with clients to expand the brand's footprint in the construction and earthmoving industry. You will act as a key liaison between the management, technical teams, and external stakeholders to ensure every excavator delivery and sales lead is handled with precision.


Job Requirements:

·       Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

·       At least 2-3 years in a sales or operations role, preferably within the heavy machinery, automotive, or construction equipment industry.

·       Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and communicate effectively in a professional setting.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CRM or project management tools is a significant advantage.

·       Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask between office-based operations and site-based client meetings.

·       Proactive mindset with a proven ability to resolve logistical or sales-related challenges.


Job Descriptions:

  • Operational Oversight: Assist the manager in daily operations, ensuring the smooth movement and delivery of hydraulic excavators across Malaysia.
  • Sales & Business Development: Identify new sales leads, follow up on inquiries, and maintain strong relationships with existing clients in the construction and mining sectors.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare sales quotations, invoices, and operational reports; ensure all documentation complies with heavy machinery import/export and local distribution standards.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between internal technical teams and external clients to ensure customer satisfaction and project timelines are met.
  • Project Monitoring: Oversee the lifecycle of sales projects—from initial inquiry to after-sales service—ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential operational bottlenecks or sales challenges and propose proactive solutions to the manager.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously suggest improvements to enhance efficiency in the supply chain and sales funnel.
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive pricing structures and client data with the utmost discretion.
